Clean Carts are 510 thread cartridges built around a ceramic coil, which handles thicker oil better than the older cotton wick designs. They need a separate battery. Run them at the low end of the voltage range, because ceramic holds heat well and will scorch oil if you push it. A cart that tastes burnt on a high setting is usually fine again at a lower one.
